Apolinar Japa Santana, 89, of Lynn, beloved husband of Felicia (Francis) de Japa and loving son of the late Emenegildo Japa and Martha Santana died July 30, 2020 at the Brentwood Rehabilitation in Danvers.
Apolinar was born raised and educated in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic, were he operated a grocery store for many years prior to moving to the United States.
In addition to his wife, Apolinar is survived by his three children Daniel Japa of the Dominican Republic, David Japa and Sara Nunez both of Lynn. He also leaves four grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at the Nadworny Funeral Home 798 Western Ave., Lynn, Thursday from 10:00AM-12:00PM, followed by a graveside service at Pine Grove Cemetery at 12:30PM. Due to restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic and to adhere to the CDC and the Massachusetts guidelines: social distancing and masks are required.
