Jennie C. (Chociej) Myslinski, 97, of Lynn, beloved wife of the late Charles W. Myslinski and daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Chociej, died peacefully on September 24th surrounded by her loving family. Born, raised and educated in Lynn, Jennie worked as an electronics assembler with the NAE Company. Jennie was a member of the P.L.A.V. Chapter 56 Ladies Auxiliary where she was the Chaplain for many years. She was also active in Bingo and with St. Michael’s Church, and a former member of the St. Michael’s Retiree’s Club. Jennie loved to knit and crochet and enjoyed being the President of the Polish Knitting Club. She was cherished by her daughters, and her happiest times were spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jennie is survived by her daughter Carolyn A. Downey and husband the late Lt. Stevan Downey (Lynn Police) of Lynnfield, Janet C. Davis and her late husband Warren J. Davis, Jr. of Rowley, her sister Frances A. Maurice of Oregon, her 7 grandchildren Capt. Michael S. Downey (Lynn Fire) and his wife Diane, Kristen A. Hamilton and her husband Thomas, Lt. Kathryn J. Downey(Massachusetts State Police), Christopher S. Downey and his wife Kerry, Cheryl E. Adams and her husband Kyle, Alison K. Beaulier, Kevin M. Davis and his wife Heidi, 16 great grandchildren Katelyn, Lindsey, Justin, Elizabeth, Cassandra, Brittany, Brett, Abigail, William, Isabella, Nathaniel, Owen, Stevan, Julia, Shea, James, 2 great great grandchildren Abigail and Zoey and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Stanley Chociej and Roman Chociej. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at the Nadworny Funeral Home 798 Western Ave., Lynn Saturday Sept. 28th at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours Friday from 4:00PM-8:00 PM.
