Felicia Francis de Japa, 80 of Lynn, beloved wife of the late Apolinar Japa Santana and loving daughter of the late Luis A. Francis and Ursula Corporan, died September 12, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.
Felicia was born, raised and educated in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She was an educator in Chemical Biology for 40 years, she was also the Director of Liceo Paraguay High School in Santo Domingo and also lectured in the field in Latin America. Felicia was also a devout and loving member of the Christian faith.
Felicia is survived by her three children, Daniel Japa of Dominican Republic, David Japa and Sara Nunez both of Lynn, and her four grandchildren. She also survived by her siblings Luis Francis of Santo Domingo, D.R., Miguel Francis, Rafael Francis and Rev. Gertrudys “Gladys” Pena-Francis all of Lynn.
Relatives and friends are invited to attended her funeral service from the Nadworny Funeral Home 798 Western Ave., Lynn, Friday September 17th, from 10:00AM-12:00PM, followed by interment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
