Brian H. Sarnowski of West Newbury, MA, aged 65, died peacefully in the arms of his wife and daughter on March 10, 2021, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center after a long courageous battle with End Stage Renal Failure.
He was born on December 21,1955, in Lynn, MA to the late Henry J. & Rita S. (Kucharski) Sarnowski. Brian attended St. Michael’s School and was a communicant of the former St. Michael's Church. He graduated from Lynn Classical High School in 1973. He went on to receive an Associate’s Degree from North Shore Community College. After graduation, Brian went to work for Bill & Son Auto Body and later Norelco as a machinist. On his time off, Brian could be found at Plourde’s Auto Sales and Service with his best friend Jack. Brian retired due to health issues but wanting to remain active working for both Solimine and Nadworny Funeral Homes doing various jobs. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Valladolid Council #70, Lynn, MA.
On November 7, 1980, Brian married the love of his life, Janice E. Buresh of Peabody, MA. Shortly after, they welcomed, a daughter, Kandis N. Sarnowski and later another daughter, the late Krista L. Sarnowski. Brian was known to be the best girl dad around. From blow-drying hair sessions to shopping excursions to basketball practices, games and tournaments, as well as summer camping trips, boating on the lake, attending car shows and washing cars. Nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his family.
Regardless of dealing with serious health issues from an early age, Brian had a smile that could light up a room; always the jokester up to some kind of mischief. He loved recounting stories of him and his cousin Wayne's childhood shenanigans. He found joy in not only the big moments, but in the small, day-to-day moments as well. He had an amazing sense of humor that all his family and friends benefited from. Until his death, Brian enjoyed watching old time TV shows and car shows. He was a man of exceptional character, quick to forgive; he always saw the best in others. He will be greatly missed by the many whose lives he impacted.
