Wilhelm ( Bill ) E. Kozlauska, age 89, passed away with his family by his side on October 9th, 2018. Born in Lynn on April 6, 1929, he was the son of the late Wallace and Ethel (Gelezauskas) Kazlawskas. Beloved husband of Dolores (Petrouskas) Kozlauska for 60 years. He leaves a son John W. Kozlauska DMD and his wife Heidi of Lynnfield and a daughter Carol Hand and her husband Michael of Bedford and his two precious granddaughters Lucy and Victoria Hand, several nieces and nephews a first cousin and several other cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Fred Kozlowski, sister Gladys Luciano and sister in law Frances Russotto. A graduate of Lynn Classical Division of Technical Arts in 1947, he worked at General Electric in Lynn, then enlisted in the Air Force and served his country during the Korean War as a radar mechanic and later as an instructor in Biloxi, MS. He graduated from Northeastern University in 1960 with a degree in electrical engineering. For many years he worked for the Department of the Army in Huntsville, AL, Germany and in MA. in the government offices at Raytheon on the Patriot missile system. Upon retirement he enjoyed traveling, polka dancing, working on his various Mercedes cars and tinkering in the garage. His was a member of Post 56 PLAV, NARFE, DAV. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Nadworny Funeral Home 798 Western Ave., Lynn on Saturday at 8:00 AM, followed by his Mass of Christian burial in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Lynnfield at 9:00AM.
